<p>Lowering instructions:</p>
<ol>
<li>Remove the stainless steel safety pin from each arm.</li>
<li>Lift the platform slightly as you pull rearward until stopped.</li>
<li>Slowly lower the platform downward.</li>
</ol>
<p>Raising instructions:</p>
<ol>
<li>Lift the bottom edge of the platform in an outward sweeping motion.</li>
<li>Raise the rear platform above horizontal and push forward until stopped.</li>
<li>Slowly lower back edge of platform until arms rest on the stop.</li>
<li>Install stainless steel safety pins in each arm.</li>
</ol>
